Scope of the Course :

Visual Effects has become inseparable part of visual media namely Films, Television. In India alone, over 1000 films are made every year and more than 150 channels broadcasting programs round the clock. Besides this, India also became creative hub for many Hollywood projects, So Indian Entertainment industry need huge amount of Artist & creative minds to fulfill the need.

This course will help students to know & understand the pipeline of creating visual effects. Also it will help the person who has interest and willing to join Visual Effects industry and also for those who are already working in industry and want to upgrade knowledge. In this course, Student will get an opportunity to visualize & create his/her own basic VFX shots under experts guidance. Students will get the knowledge from Pre- visualization to post production.

The course is an exploration of new & emerging technique and technologies for visual effects in film, beginning with an inspirational experience of the magnitude of digital composting. The participants will get an overview of the kinds of digital effects and will have as understanding of the film effects history, node and layer based composting.

Interactive session with the industry expert will be added advantage for the candidates.

Objective of the course :

1. To understand required preparation for creating Visual effects

2. To visualize & achieve the required result.

3. To familiarize with chroma shooting

4. To familiarize with 3D dynamics

5. To give broader view of VFX pipeline.

Minimum Eligibility : 12th (H.S.C.) / Basic understanding about VFX is required.

The filled - in application forms received will be scrutinized and list of selected candidates will be displayed on the website by 23rd April, 2013. Selected candidates should send the fees by Demand Draft (Nationalized Bank) drawn in favour of “Accounts Officer, FTII” payable at Pune. Selected Candidates should confirm their course participation accompanied with the Demand Draft of Rs 40,000/- (Rs. Fourty Thousand only) so as to reach latest by 30th April, 2013 on the following address
